Download videos from You Tube for Literacy work

You Tube can be a great source for finding materials for literacy e.g. TV adverts, recordings of poetry etc.

If you dowload the basic Realplayer 11 free from http://uk.real.com/player/more, you can download videos to your laptop. Whwn playing you tube video, move your mouse over the video. A little pop-up will appear in the top right hand corner of the video saying Download Video. Click it!

Another idea is searching for things like episodes of Dr Seuss and playing them in wet breaks. Just found one that lasts 8 minutes - nice time filler or could intro poetry.
